Day 1- Mombasa - Tsavo East National Park

After your leisurely early breakfast, you will be picked up from your beach hotel or from Moi International Airport and depart for Tsavo East national park. This 2-day safari adventure will be fueled with fun and new discoveries. Upon arrival to the park, enjoy a game drive in the park as you enroute to your lodge. Tsavo is the largest national park in Kenya and is split into East and West by the highway from Mombasa. You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch perhaps have an afternoon siesta the head out for an evening game drive arriving back as the sun sets. Dinner and overnight at your lodge on full board basis. KILAGUNI SERENA (Approximate drive time 5 hours)

Day 2- Tsavo East National Park- Mombasa

Following an early breakfast, head out for an early morning game drive then drive back to your beach hotel arriving late in the afternoon or drop off at Moi International airport. (Approximate drive time 5 hours)

The Tsavo East National Park was established in 1948, making it one of the oldest park in the region. Additionally, the park covers a whopping 13,747km2 giving it a massive area for exploration and wildlife viewing.

The Tsavo East National Park was established in 1948, making it one of the oldest park in the region. Additionally, the park covers a whopping 13,747km2 giving it a massive area for exploration and wildlife viewing. The park is located 173 kilometers North West of Mombasa and 333 kilometers south-east of Nairobi. Her proximity to the sandy beaches and stunning tourist attractions of Mombasa and Malindi makes sure that the fun doesn’t stop at sea. The park is a natural ground with different ecosystems such as dry plains, flatlands, swampy marshlands and thorny bushes. Her annual temperature is relatively constant; this is owing to the fact that she is a few degrees south of the equator. The tropical day temperature ranges from 27 to 31 degrees while the night temperatures range is at 22-24 degrees. From October to December the weather is good for safaris except for some light rain showers. Humidity in the park is unusually high from December to April.
